This painting was part of the 2016 “Fire on the Water” Rose Festival art show which was held in the Antoinette Hatfield Hall in the Performing Arts Center, one of the Portland 5 Centers for the Arts. I was excited to be in the show and this painting recalls some of the work I was doing in college at PSU and which has the Hawthorne Bridge in the background which is also special to me because I used to walk across it often when I was in college.
